Thousands of people attended the human chain.
Muksudpur Thana Awami League (AL) organised the programme where Sheikh Atiar Rahman Dipu, member of the presidium, Bangladesh Awami Jubo League was present as the chief coordinator.
The speakers urged the government to take immediate action against those who are involved in this heinous act.
Among others Mihir Kanti Roy, Chariman, Jalirpar Union Parishad, Dipak Barai, Former Chairman, Jalirpar Union Parishad and Atiar Rahman Mia, President Awami League (AL), Muksudpur Upazila, in Gopalganj spoke on the occasion.
