RANGPUR, May 14 (BSS): Speakers at a post-rally discussion have said the present government has achieved tremendous success in every sector in advancing the country for building a middle income nation.
District Information Office organised the discussion at Gangachara upazila parishad auditorium on 'Success achieved by the government, informing the people on future development plans and involving them with uplift activities' Wednesday.
With Gangachara Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tauhidul Islam in the chair, Upazila Chairman Asaduzzaman Bablu attended the discussion as the chief guest.
Joint Conveners of Gangachara upazila Awami League (AL) Ruhul Amin and Saidul Islam, Upazila Muktijoddha Commander Azizul Islam, Upazila Vice-chairmen Fosiul Alam and Naznin Nahar addressed the audience as special guests.
Students and teachers of different educational institutions, public representatives, youths, government officials, NGO executives, civil society members, socio-cultural and political leaders, media workers and local elite were present.
Senior District Information Officer Humayun Kabir delivered power point presentation elaborately narrating the huge success achieved by the present government during the past six and a half year period in every sector of development.
Heads of different upazila government departments also narrated the huge success achieved by their respective organisations in developing the socio-economic condition of the common people.
The speakers highly lauded the tremendous success achieved by the government in implementation of the digitisation programme, charter of changes and Vision 2021 to accelerate the pace of development.
