Guard murdered in Brahmanbaria

BRAHMANBARIA, Mar 22 (UNB): A night guard of a sand quarry was stabbed to death by some miscreants at Adalot Para in the town early Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Mokbul, 35, Police sources said being informed by locals, police recovered the body and sent it to sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy.

The reason behind the killing could not be known.

Miscreants might have stabbed Makbul to death at some time in the night, said the sources.

However, no one was arrested in this connection.
