Healthy mothers make healthy nation: Speakers

KHULNA, Feb 22 (BSS): Speakers at a consultative workshop on Sunday for journalists here stressed the need for ensuring sound health for women and children for building a worthy nation.

Terming healthy mothers to give birth to healthy children, they said that balanced nutrition will make healthy mother and ensure normal growth of children.

Organized by Bangladesh Commission on Information and Accountability for Women's and Children Health (COIA) secretariat in association with Bangladesh Health Reporters' Forum(BHRF), the workshop was held at the conference room of School Health Clinic in the City with Director of Health, Khulna, Dr. Anil Chandra Dutta in the chair.

With the slogan of 'No woman should die while giving life' the workshop was participated 30 local journalists.
