BRAHMANBARIA, Aug 6: Haor Infrastructure and Livelihood Improvement Project (HILIP) under Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED) arranged a function on profit distribution at the auditorium of Bangladesh Rural Development Board of Nabinagar upazila in Brahmanbaria Tuesday.
Nabinagar Upazila Chairman Eng. Md Shafiqul Islam was present at the function as the chief guest while Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Azizul Islam presided over and Nabinagar Upazila Engineer Md Nurul Islam delivered the welcome address to the participants.
HILIP-LGED distributed the profit amounting of Tk 697072 for construction of Nabinagar village protection works at Kharghar Pachimpara village among 68 members of Labour Contracting Society (LCS) at the Nabinagar upazila Tuesday.
HILIP-LGED officials and LCS members, people of Nabinagar area, journalists of print and electronics media participated at the function.
