Historic Mar 7 observed in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Mar 8 (BSS): Freedom Fighters (FFs) under the banner of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangshad, district unit command, observed the historic March 7 here on Saturday in a befitting manner.

On that day, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman made a momentous speech at a public meeting at 'Racecourse Maidan' which united the Bengali nation against the Pakistani rulers.

Marking the day, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangshad, Gaibandha Unit arranged a discussion meeting at its office in the town with deputy commander of the unit valiant FF Goutam Chandra Modak in the chair.

The meeting was also addressed, among others, by former district unit commander Mahmudul Haque Sahjada, Sadar Upazila commander Ali Akbar Miah and FFs Wasicar M. Ikbal Mazu, Aftab Hossain Dudu, Entazur Rahman, Azizur Rahman,Mohammad Ali and Abul Kashem.
