Housewife commits suicide in Jhalokathi

JHALOKATHI, Nov 8 (UNB): A housewife allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of a room at her residence at Court Road area in the town on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Jhimu Akter, 26, wife of Tanjer Mollik, a businessman of the same area.

Family members said Jhimu Akter, mother of two children, killed herself by hanging herself from the ceiling of her room. The incident came to their notice around 10pm.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy A UD case was filed in this connection at Sadar Police Station.
