PABNA, May 2: A housewife took her own life by taking poison over family feud at village Tarabaria under Char Tarapur union in Pabna Sadar on Friday evening.
The ill fated housewife mother of five sons and daughters was identified as Begum, 55, wife of Mohammad Abdullah of Tarabaria village.
Quoting the victim's family members, police said Begum was locked in an altercation over a trifling matter with her husband in the evening.
At one stage she committed suicide by taking insecticides in her bedroom.
Later family members found her in a critical state and took her to Santhia upazila health complex, from which she was shifted to Pabna Medical College Hospital where the attending doctor declared her dead.
