RAJSHAHI, Jan 09 (UNB): A housewife reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a mango tree near their house at Mahdipur village in Bagha upazila on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Ismat Ara Begum, 26, wife of Mitul Hossain, a Bangladeshi living in Italy.
Quoting locals, police said Ismat Ara has been rebuked by her father-in-law over beating her six-year-old son for playing with dust at their yard in the afternoon.
