Housewife found dead in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, Jun 26 (UNB): Police recovered hanging body of a housewife at Ramnagar in Kaliganj upazila on Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Beauty, 28, wife of Nazmul Islam, a resident of Kalikapur village in the upazila.

On information, police recovered the body from an abandoned room of a fish enclosure at Ramnagar around at 8:00 pm.

Officer in-charge of Kaliganj police station Golam Rahman said Beauty might have been strangulated to death over family feud.

Her husband Nazmul went into hiding after the incident. A case was filed in this connection.
