Housewife killed in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Jun 5   (BSS): A housewife was killed by her husband over a family feud at city's Shulakbahar area under Panchliash thana in Chittagong Wednesday night. Police arrested Mohammad Sirajul Islam and his relative Jaheda Akter after the incident.

The deceased was identified as Tohida Akter Akhi, 20, wife of Mohammad Sirajul Islam, hailed from Shulakbahar area under Panchliash thana in the port city.

Sub Inspector Akram Ullah of Panchliash thana police said garments worker Akhi died on the spot when her husband bus driver Siraj tortured her over a family feud at around 6 am.
