Housewife, schoolgirl commit suicide in Magura

MAGURA, May 6 (UNB): A housewife and a schoolgirl allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents in Mahammadpur upazila on Tuesday.

A young housewife named Sumi Sultana, 22, daughter of Alam Sheikh, a resident of Charpachuria village in the upazila, hanged herself from the ceiling of her room over family feud in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, Swapna Khatun, 14, a student of class VIII and daughter of Badsha Molla, a resident of Madhyapara village of the upazila, took her own life by hanging from the ceiling at her room.
