Housewife strangled to death

COMILLA, Mar 19 (UNB): A housewife was strangled to death allegedly by her husband over family feud at Italla village in sadar upazila Sunday.
Police arrested Jahangir Alam of the village, husband of Kulsum Aktar, on charge of killing the mother of two.
Police quoting locals and Kulsum`s family said Jahangir used to torture Kulsum regularly over family dispute and at dead of night Sunday he strangled to death her at his house and hanged the body with a ceiling fan to pass the murder as suicide.
Being informed police recovered the body, bearing marks of torture, and sent it to hospital for autopsy.
