Housewife\\\'s hanging body found in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Aug 19 (UNB): Police recovered hanging body of a housewife from her residence at Arefin Nagar under Bayezid police station in the city on Monday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Lipi Begum,23, wife of Murad Mia.

Swapan Saha,officer-in-charge of the police station, said being informed by locals, police recovered Lipi's body hanging from the ceiling of her bedroom at their rented house.

She had been living in the house with her husband and in-laws, who went into hiding following the incident.

Police were looking into whether the incident was a suicide or murder, he added.
