Husband kills wife over family feud

NAOGAON, Sept 11 (UNB): A housewife was strangled allegedly by her husband over a family feud in Anandanagar area of the district town early Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Rehana Parvin,36, wife of Al-Amin, a resident of the area.

Police, quoting locals, said Al-Amin used to torture Rehana regularly over family-related dispute.

He strangled Rehana following an altercation over an issue in the dead of night.

On information, police recovered the body on Thursday morning and sent it to hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Police also arrested Al-Amin on charge of killing her wife Rehana.

A case was filed with Rupsha Police Station in this connection.
