Husband, wife electrocuted in Laxmipur

LAXMIPUR, Oct 27 (BSS): A man and his wife died from electrocution in Ramganj upazila of the district on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Sogir Ahmed, 52, and his wife Shahnaj Akter Shanu, 37, were the residents of Chandipur area .
Local people said Sogir, an auto-rickshaw driver, came in contact with a live electric wire while he was charging the battery of his auto-rickshaw at his home this noon and his wife Shanu was also electrocuted during the time as she was trying to save him.
