Indian goods worth Tk5.0m seized in Magura

MAGURA, Apr 18: Indian goods worth Tk about 5 million (50 lakhs) were seized in Magura.

Magura police station officer-in-charge Munshi Asaduzzaman informed, following a tip off a police team raided a  pick up in Dhalhar area on Magura - Narail road around 12 of Friday night.

Police recovered Indian goods of Tk 5 million from the truck. The goods included Indian medicine, three pieces and sarees.

The goods were being to sent to Dhaka from Shatikhira. Police also arrested 4 persons in this regard. The arrested were identified as Hamid 50, Atik 45, Shahadat 35 and Shafiq 26.
