FARIDPUR, Dec 3 (BSS): International Day of People with Disabilities was observed here today with a call for removing all barriers of the disabled persons and work for their welfare.
With this year's slogan "Sustainable Development: The Promise of Technology" the social services department in association with the local NGO's chalked out the programmes. The day's programme included a rally and a discussion meeting.
Acting DD of Social Services ASM Ali Ahsan chaired the meeting while ADC (Gen) Md. Abdur Rashid was present as the chief guest.
