JBL distributes blankets in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Jan 6 (BSS): Janata Bank Limited (JBL) distributed blankets to the people with disability and the distressed of the town here last few days to mitigate their sufferings caused by cold wave.

According to sources cold wave has been sweeping over the northern districts including Gaibandha for the last couples of weeks creating untold sufferings to the people.

The poor people particularly the persons with disability and the distressed were passing their days with hardship for want of warm clothes and their sorrows knew no bounds.

To lessen their sufferings, JBL stood beside them and disbursed more than one hundred blankets to cold victims.
