Jhenaidah, Dinajpur road crashes kill three

A total of three persons were killed in separate road accidents in Jhenaidah and Dinajpur districts on Thursday and Wednesday night, reports BSS.
In Jhenaidah, two people were killed in two separate road accidents at Moheshpur and Shailakupa upazilas of the district on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Jashim Uddin, 30, a resident of Mirpur upazila of Kushtia, and Fazar Ali, 45, of Mallikpara of Chuadanga.
Officer-in-charge (OC) Moheshpur police station Foyez Uddin Mridha said that a truck hit Jashim Uddin, who was mentally challenged, in the Jinnahnagar Bazar area, leaving him dead on the spot.
In another incident, an unknown vehicle hit Fazar Ali in front of Fulhari Dakhil Madrasa in Shoilakupa upazila, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
In Dinajpur, a man was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Kalyani Bazar area under Birganj upazila of the district on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Bimal Roy, 50, son of Sedhem Roy, a resident of Narail village under the Satail union of the upazila.
The accident took place around 10 pm when a truck hit a motorcycle in the area, leaving its rider Bimal dead on the spot and two others injured.
