JKKNIU holds DU entry test for first time today

The admission test of Dhaka University for undergraduate programmes under the Arts, Law and Social Science Unit for the 2023-24 academic session will be held today (Friday).

This is for the first time, the test will be held at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU) for the students of Mymensingh division, replacing Bangladesh Agriculture University as an alternative centre. The entry test is held in Dhaka and other seven divisional cities.

Prof Dr Ahmadul Bari, 'focal point' coordinator responsible for examinations of this division, said, "As the DU entry test is going to be held today for the first time, Jatiya Kabi Nazrul Islam University is fully prepared to hold the exam."

"As more than 7,000 students will sit for the examination at the centre, we have already taken all-out preparation to conduct the test peacefully," he added.

Admission test for Business Studies Unit will also be held at the centre tomorrow (Saturday). Apart from Dhaka and Nazrul University centres, the others are Khulna University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet, Barishal University, and Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur.
