JL leader shot dead in Pabna

PABNA, Aug 3: A union-level Jubo League leader was shot dead at Ratanpur village of Ataikula police station in Pabna early Sunday.
The deceased, Md Baki Billah, 45, son of Baher Mollah of village Ratanpur in Ataikula under Pabna district was the president of ward no 3 of Bhulbaria union of Juba League unit in Santhia upazila of the district, police said.
Officer-in-charge of Ataikula police station Md Faizul Islam said a gang of criminals attacked Baki Billah at about 1 am. The armed criminals gunned him down to death over previous enmity, OC said.
