Jute mill worker killed in Jessore road accident

BENAPOLE, Nov 30 (UNB): A jute mill worker was killed as a bus rammed his bicycle in Rajghat Industrial area at Noapara in Abhaynagar upazila of Jessore district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Abdus Samad Molla,55, a worker of Carpeting Jute Mills and son of Akram Hossain Molla, a resident of Shangkarpasha village of the same upazila.

Police and witnesses said the Khulna-bound bus of 'Eagle Paribahan' hit the bicycle Samad was riding on his way back home from his workplace at about 7:30 pm, leaving him seriously injured.

He died on way to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
