KMCH physician held over medical entry test question leak

KHULNA, Oct 10 (UNB): A mobile court in the district in a drive on Thursday arrested a medical officer of Khulna Medical College and Hospital (KMCH) for his alleged involvement in medical admission test question paper leak from a building on Benubabu road of the city.

The arrestee is Dr Tarim alias Yunus Khan Tarim, also director of medical coaching center 'Three Doctors' located at Benubabu road.

Tarim is a member of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA), former president of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of Khulna Medical College unit and organising secretary of Swadhinata Chikitshak Parishad Khulna unit.

Executive Magistrates Md Imran Khan and Md Mizanur Rahman said Tarim was arrested for suspected involvement in leaking question paper of medical entry test scheduled to be held on October 11.

Sources said 'Three Doctors' authorities were involved in admitting students to medical colleges through forgery. They used to take Tk 3.5 million to Tk 4.0 million from each admission seekers.
