Kotechandpur UZ vice-chairman held

JHENIDAH, Apr 10: Police arrested Kotechandpur upazila vice-chairman and secretary of the upazila unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Moyabia Hossain in Jhenidah at around 12.30 pm Wednesday on apprehension of subversive activities.

Kotechandpur Police Station OC Fazlur Rahman said Moyabia, an accused of several cases including vandalisms and torching of polling stations in Kotechandpur upazila on the eve of the 10th general elections, was arrested from outside of the upazila council as he had been planning to carry out subversive activities organising the party men.
