BRAHMANBARIA, August 11: Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED) arranged an art competition for children at the premises of Executive Engineer's office on the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's death anniversary in Brahmanbaria Monday.
Forty-five children participated in the art competition. All participants are the children of LGED officials, studying at different educational institutions in Brahmanbaria district.
A discussion meeting was held by LGED officials. District officers on child affairs Khandaker Nipone Hossain was present as the chief guest while LGED executive Engineer Md Shakhwat Hossain presided over the function and Senior assistant Engineer Md Mamun Khan delivered the welcome address to the participants.
