THAKURGAON, Sept 11 (BSS): Two minor siblings were killed and their mother was injured by lightning in village Nekmarad under Ranisonkoil upazila in the district Wednesday, police and local sources said.
The tragic incident occurred as thunderbolt hit the house of Sudha Ram amid torrential rains and inclement weather this morning when the victims were on the veranda of their house. Siblings Suman Roy, 7, and his younger brother Sanaton Roy, 5, sons of Sudha Ram Roy were killed on the spot while their mother Ulani Rani, 33, was injured and rushed to Ranisonkoil Upazila Health Complex.
