Lightning strike kills youth in Nilphamari

NILPHAMARI, May 26 (BSS): A youth was killed by thunderbolt at Porakot village under Kishoreganj upazila of the district on Saturday.
The youth was identified as Liton Boishaw, 25, of Porakot village under Putimari union of the upazila.
Local people said the thunderbolt struck Liton around 7 am when he was catching fish in a bill (water body) of the village.
He died on the spot.
