Man commits suicide under train

Another message from Our Correspondent adds: An engineer was crushed under the wheels of a train at Boral bridge station area of Bhangura Upazila of Pabna Tuesday morning. The victim jumped into the train line to commit suicide, police and locals said.

 The deceased Russel Ahmed Rubel, 35, son of late Jalal Ahmed of village Dhanbandhi in Sirajganj Sadar Upazila, was a civil engineer by profession, sources said.  

Officer-in-charge of Bhangura police station Abu Zafar said Rubel jumped into the train track in Boral bridge station at about 9am when the Sirajganj Express, an intercity train, was crossing the station. He died on the spot the OC said.  

Sirajganj GRP police recovered the body from the spot.
