Man crushed under train in Sirajganj

SIRAJGANJ, June 11 (BSS): A man was crushed under the wheels of a train at Jamtail railway station in Kamarkhand upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was identified as Liton Hossain, 45, son of Shamsu Master, resident of Tengrail village in the upazila.

Citing locals, officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sirajganj Bazar Railway Police Station Harun-or-Rashid said Liton Hossain died after being crushed under the wheels of a train coming from Dhaka while he was crossing the rail line around 10:30 am.

The body was handed over to the family members, the OC added.
