Man gets life in C'nawabganj drug case

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Oct 26 (BSS): A court has sentenced a man to life-term imprisonment in a drug case.

The convict is Touhidul Islam (29), son of Robiul Alam of Digha Miapara village under Godagari upazila in Rajshahi district.

Chapainawabganj senior session judge Md. Adeeb Ali announced the verdict on Thursday. According to prosecution, on a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 conducted a raid at Kalupur Graveyard area in Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila on April 9, 2020 and arrested Touhid and Babu with 1.010 kg heroin.
