Man hacked to death in Sylhet

SYLHET, Jan 27 (UNB): A man was hacked to death by his neighbour in Sylhet's Biswanath upazila on Friday.

The deceased was Delwar Hossain (35).

Quoting locals, he said an altercation broke out between the members of Delwar's family and his neighbouring house.

The altercation broke out after a family accused Delwar and his family of stealing their lost chicklings. At one stage, Delwar was attacked with a sharp weapon, he said.
