Man held with phensidyl in Lalmonirhat

LALMONIRHAT, Sept 21 (BSS): Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested a man with 1145 bottles of phensidyl from Aditmari upazila of the district on Wednesday evening.

A press release, signed by Assistant Media Director of RAB-13 Mahmud Bashir Ahmed, said on Thursday.

On a tip-off, a team of the RAB intercepted a truck in Shaptibari area in the upazila. After searching the truck, they found the phensidyl

The RAB also detained the drug trader at that time.

The detained was identified as Shajol, 20, hailing from Kaliganj upazila.

A case was filed under Narcotics Control Act. Later, Shajol was handed over to Aditmari Thana police.
