Man killed by in-laws over family feud in Pabna

PABNA, Aug 24: A man was killed in his in-laws' house of village Char Saitufa in Aminpur thana under Bera Upazila the district early Sunday. Police arrested his wife and mother-in-law in connection with the incident.

 The deceased Md. Bellal Hossain, 38, son of Rashid Biswas of village Lokhhmikula in Rajbari district was living in his father in law's house at Char Saitufa in Aminpur thana under the district.

 Officer-in-charge of Aminpur police station Md. Jasim Uddin Sarkar said Bellal had conjugal crises with his wife. His wife and his family members strangulated him over the family feud at around 2.30am on Sunday and later hanged the body in the house.

On information, police rushed the spot and recovered the body of the victim on Sunday morning. The body was sent to Pabna Medical College Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination.  

The victim's uncle filed a murder case with Aminpur police station accusing his wife, father-in-law and mother-in-law.

Police arrested Laily Begum, 35, wife of the victim and Rupban Begum, 52, mother in law of the victim from the house, the OC added.
