Man killed, father hurt by lightning strike

PABNA, Apr 26: A man was killed and his father injured by a lightning strike at Kushiara village in Bera upazila on Pabna Saturday evening.
The deceased was identified as Babul Fakir, 25, son of Abdul Aziz Fakir of the village. Witnesses said, a streak of thunderbolt struck them while they were returning home from their crop field at about 6.30pm, leaving Babul Fakir dead on the spot and his father injured.
The injured Abdul Aziz was admitted to Bera upazila health complex.
