Man killed in Narail train accident

NARAIL, Apr 07 (BSS): A man was killed after being run over by a train in Lohagara upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Akram Molya, 60, son of Khalek Molya, a resident of Charbakjuri village in the upazila.

The accident occurred around 8:00 am on the western side of the Madhumoti railway bridge in the Purba Charkalna area.

According to police and family members, Akram Molya was returning home along the railway track when a Dhaka-bound train from Khulna struck him, killing him on the spot.
