Man kills his uncle over land dispute

CHITTAGONG, Jun 8 (BSS): A man allegedly killed his uncle Aminul Islam, 40, over land dispute at Keshua village of Borma union under Chandanaish upazila of the district on Saturday night.

Police said Aminul died on the spot after his nephew Saddam Hossain attacked him with a spade at one stage of quarrel over land dispute between Aminul and his brother Mozammel.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Chandanaish thana SM Badiuzzaman said police detained Saddam Hossain, his father Mozammel and mother Sahera Khatun for the killing.

The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy while a case was filed in this connection, the OC added.
