Man 'kills self' in Sylhet

SYLHET, Jan 28 (UNB): A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house at Alapur village in Balaganj upazila on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Chad Mia Ranu, 45, son of late Sekandar Ali.
Quoting family members, Sadikur Rahman, sub-inspector of Balaganj Police Station, said that Chad Mia hanged himself from the beam of his room around 2:30 pm with a scarf. He had been suffering from mental illness, he said.
