Man slips off bus, dies in Manikganj

A man was killed as a bus ran over him after he slipped down under it near Paturia Ferry Ghat at Shibalaya upazila in Manikganj on Wednesday morning. The deceased was identified as Wadud, 25, son of Abdus Samad of Gochhra village in Khulna district. Sub-inspector Saiful Islam of Borongail Highway Police camp said Wadud was run over by a Dhaka-bound bus as he slipped down while trying to get on the bus in the area around 6:20am, leaving him dead on the spot. Later, the body was handed over to the family members of the deceased, according to UNB.
