NARAYANGANJ, Nov 12 (UNB): A Narayanganj court on Wednesday sentenced a man to death for killing a schoolboy seven years back.
The condemned convict was identified as Mohammad Ali Babu.
Justice Miaji Shahidul Alam Chowdhury Narayanganj no 2 additional district and sessions judges court pronounced the verdict in absence of Babu.
According to the prosecution, Imran Hossain Emon, a class II student of a local primary school and son of Ismail Hossian of Deobhog area of the city, was strangulated to death by Babu following previously enmity with Emon's elder brother Sumon on December 12,2007.
