Man\\\'s slaughtered body recovered in Narsingdi

NARSHINGDI, Dec 25 (UNB): Police recovered slaughtered body of an elderly man from a field at Uttar Chowar village in Sadar upazila on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Taher Ali,65, a resident of the same village.

Abul Kashem, officer-in-charge of Narshingdi Model Police Station, said Taher had gone out of the house at about 4:00pm on Wednesday and since then he did not return.

Local people spotted the body of Taher lying in a field in the area at about 10:30 am.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Narshigdi Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
