Meet held on awareness to protect HR

MAGURA, May 19: A view exchange meeting on creating awareness to protect human rights was held in Magura.

BRAC human rights and legal aid programme arranged the meeting at Magura Judges' conference room Monday.

Magura district judge Md Aminul Islam was the chief guest in the meeting with BRAC representative Rokeya Begum in the chair.

The speakers said, BRAC is contemplating supporting the destitute with legal aid at free cost. But many are not aware of this. Media can play a vital role in this regard, they said.
