Middlemen fined for selling veg at higher prices

NILPHAMARI, Sept 19 (BSS): A mobile court in a drive has fined four middlemen Tk 80,000 for selling vegetables at higher prices in Jaldhaka of the district.

Executive Magistrate Moinul Islam, who is also the Upazila Nirbahi Officer, led the drive at Mukta Cold storage in the Baroghat area of the upazila on Monday. He fined four middlemen Tk 80,000 for fraud. Each of the middlemen was fined Tk 20,000.
