RANGPUR, Apr 17 (BSS): A minor boy was killed in an incident of lightning at village Behabatpur under Pirganj upazila in the district on Tuesday, police said.
The deceased was identified as Hussaine 7, son of day-labourer Joynal Abedin of the same village.
Hussaine was a student of class one of local Behabatpur Government Primary School.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pirganj Thana Rezaul Karim said Hussaine was killed on the spot after a thunderbolt struck him while he was playing on their homestead amid drizzles in the morning.
