Minor earthquake jolts Thakurgaon

RANGPUR, Jan 25 (BSS): An earthquake shook Thakurgaon and surrounding areas on Sunday. According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, the quake was of minor intensity measured 3.4 on the Richter scale and occurred at 8:34:44 am.
The epicenter was located in Atgharia Bazar (Latitude 25.97°N, Longitude. 88.15°E)
in Thakurgaon, about 331 kilometres northwest of the Meteorological Department's seismic monitoring centre in Agargaon, Dhaka.
