Minor girl killed in road accident in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Apr 26: A minor girl was killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Khulna Highway at Mandartala area under Gopalganj Sadar of the district today (Sunday).

The deceased was identified as Anna Alise Moli (10), a student of class four of Borashi Govt. Primary School of village Mandartala under Gopalganj Sadar upazila in the district.

According to the local people and thana police, when Anna was crossing Dhaka-Khulna Highway at Mandartala area, a speeding microbus dashed her and she died on the way to hospital.

A case was filed with Gopalganj P.S. in this connection and the deadbody was sent to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. The driver fled away with his micro.
