PABNA, Nov 12: Miscreants cut down around two bighas of papaya plants at an orchard over previous enmity in Protappur village under Himayeetpur union in Pabna Sadar Upazila of Pabna district Tuesday night.
Orchard owners former union member Monzur Ali alias Member Monzu, alleged that they had taken out lease on a two bighas of land and planted there the papaya saplings.
On Tuesday night, miscreants felled the plants worth Tk 0.15 million over previous enmity, they claimed. Police confirmed the incident.
