Miscreants loot cash, gold doping 5 family members in Jessore

BENAPOLE, Dec 15 (UNB): Miscreants looted valuables worth Tk 0.5 million from a house after doping five members of a family at Ganganandapur village in Jhikorgacha upazila Sunday.

Relatives of the victims said unknown miscreants sprayed some kind of doping chemical in the house of Abdus Samad, 60, at the village, and, as an effect, all the family members lost their consciousness around 10 pm.

Later, the miscreants broke into the house and looted Tk 0.1 million cash, six 'bhori' gold, five mobile phones and other valuables.

At one point, the villagers heard a noise coming from the direction of Samad's house and went there to inquire about it. They found the five family members in a feeble condition and took them to hospital.
