Miscreants stab schoolboy to death in Khulna

KHULNA, Jan 21 (BSS) - A seventh-grader student of Khulna Public School and College was stabbed to death in Boyra Bazar area under Khalishpur police station in the city on Saturday night.
Fahmid Tanvir Razin, 13, hailed from Hitampur village under Paikgachha upazila in the district, was the son of Zahangir Alam, a retired employee of Mongla port. Razin's mother Rehena Begum is a teacher at Police Lines School.
Deputy Police Commissioner (north) of KMP Zahangir Hossain told BSS that a group of youths stabbed Razin when he was enjoying a cultural function of his school around 9:30 pm.
He was then rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.
He might have been killed over previous enmity, he said, adding that police already started drive to nab killers.
A case was filed with Khalishpur Police Station in this connection.
