Missing Jubo League leader found dead in Pabna

PABNA, Aug 25: Missing Jubo League leader of Pabna district unit, also a businessman found dead in Pabna. After two days of missing the police found the body of the victim from Sharatganj area of Chatmohar Upazila in he district on Monday morning.

The deceased Ashit Kumar Bhadra, 30, son of Arshini Bhadra of  Shalgaria mohallah in the Pabna district town was the assistant relief affairs secretary of Pabna district unit of Jubo League, youth body of ruling Awami League.  

Officer in charge of Pabna Sadar police station Kazi Haniful Islam said Ashit went out of his house of Shalgaria on August, 23 and was missing since. His wife Mukti Bhadra filed a GD with Pabna police station on the day.

 Later Chatmohar thana police recovered a body from Katgari bridge of Sharatganj bazar area of Chatmohar upazila under the district on Monday morning then informed Pabna sadar thana the OC said adding that the Pabna Sadar thana police indentified the body of Asit Bhadra.

Officer-in-charge of Chatmohar police station Subrata Kumar Sarkar said the victim was strangulated and beaten to death and later he was dumped here under the Katgari bridge
